68th ARMORED INFANTRY BATTALION 14th ARMORED DIVISION

 7 November 2009, St Louis, Veterans Day Parade, Soldiers Memorial, St. Louis, MO

Thank you for the weather!!! The turn was very good on both the spectators and parade attendees, although the low turnout in re-enactors was quite noticeable for all time periods. This year for the first time I stopped at the soldiers Memorial for some of the opening ceremonies. It was quite impressive. As usual, the Black Hawk was parked at the Memorial and this year, the Reviewing stand was the steps of the Memorial itself and not on the portable stage as in the past.

As I have done this parade for about 6 years now, this was the second best publid turnout.

The 68th Armored Infantry Battalion was represented by Sean Burton with 2 other members doing a differant time period.
