68th ARMORED INFANTRY BATTALION 14th ARMORED DIVISION

July 4, 2010 was the date for my first flag retirement at Doc's Harley Davidson in Kirkwood. This was a low key event that was attended by most all Doc's club members. I arrived at around 8:30am to set-up my small display. Gary Adkins showed-up at around 9 am with his Viet Nam display. There were alot of on lookers at the display. The flag retirement activity took about 1 hour had a speach from the Mayor of Kirkwood and the flag cermoney. There was ice tea and hot dogs for everyone that attended. The event was over by noon.  If you can, lets try to get more people to this event next year.
